Certified Safety Manager (CSM)
Course Overview
This Safety Manager Certificate serves as formal
recognition to employers, prospective employers, regulatory bodies, and legal
authorities that you possess the knowledge, skills, and competencies equivalent
to a professional standard. It demonstrates that you are capable of
independently overseeing the development and management of safety programs,
policies, and procedures typically found across various industries.
Building a strong safety culture within an
organization can be challenging. This course equips you with the essential
tools to establish effective safety training and implement a comprehensive
safety program. Participants will learn how to properly interpret regulations,
mitigate civil and criminal liabilities, boost employee morale, lower workers'
compensation costs, and most importantly, significantly reduce or prevent
workplace injuries.
The time required to complete the course varies depending on your existing
familiarity with workplace safety concepts; however, most participants complete
the course in approximately 40 hours. You are granted up to six
months to finish the course.
