Certified Safety Manager: Construction (CSMC)
Course Overview
The Construction Safety Manager Certificate
serves as a demonstration to employers, prospective employers, regulatory
bodies, and legal authorities that you possess the expertise, competencies, and
capabilities expected of a professional who can independently manage safety
programs, policies, and procedures in the construction industry.
Building a safety culture in construction environments
can be challenging. This course provides the essential tools to establish
effective safety training and implement a comprehensive safety program.
Participants will learn how to interpret and apply regulations, minimize civil
and criminal liabilities, boost worker morale, lower workers' compensation
rates, and, most importantly, prevent or eliminate injuries in construction
settings. The time needed to complete the course depends on your prior knowledge
of workplace safety, but the typical completion time is about 40 hours.
You have up to six months to finish the course.
